If you walk along the path by the Upper Duck Pond, High Park, in autumn, as many do, you'll likely notice the Wood Ducks, mixed in with the mallards, mergansers and many other species. It's hard to miss the colourful male Wood Ducks. Even so you'd see them as normal ducks on the water, under the trees. Here in this study, the Wood Ducks images (along with some mallards for interest) have been interpreted, shot in a particular way, to see them more in the imagination than the pond in High Park.
