After opening its doors eight years ago, The Local has become a favourite of Roncy Village. While Roncy has many marvellous bars, The Local stands out as a different experience. The bar celebrates conversation, or in the Irish vocabulary, good craic. Along with the talk is good times, drinking and music. There isn't a TV screen to be found. The bar is meant to be intimate and personable even while it's lively and noisy. The ownership and some staff have Irish roots and with that the gift of hospitality. Happy Anniversary, Local.
